📦 Counterbalance Forklift Driver

📍 Gateshead | Kinaxia Newcastle

Kinaxia Newcastle is looking for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our team at our Gateshead site.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy and supportive operation, playing a key role in the day-to-day success of the warehouse. You will be responsible for order picking, packing and sorting stock in preparation for loading, helping to ensure a smooth operation while maintaining high standards of customer service, accuracy and safety.

🕒 Role Details

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 – 18:00
• 1 in 4 Saturdays required (Saturday allowance paid in addition to salary)
• Salary: TBC
• Flexibility will be required to support holiday cover as needed

🚜 About the Role

As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Completing all consignment paperwork accurately and in a timely manner to deliver a world-class service
• Investigating and resolving discrepancies relating to missing stock and dispatch issues to minimise customer complaints
• Carrying out daily and weekly safety checks on manual handling equipment and work areas, completing all relevant documentation and reporting findings to your Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards to ensure the warehouse remains clean, organised and safe at all times
• Working safely and in full compliance with Health & Safety regulations to minimise the risk of accidents
• Supporting other departments when required to help ensure the smooth and efficient running of the business

✅ What We're Looking For

You will have:

• A valid Counterbalance FLT Licence
• Knowledge of warehouse Health & Safety procedures
• Experience using stock management software
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
• A flexible and proactive approach to work
